Question

At the time - I had efile on for my payroll. I am seeing no reports saying you submitted and filed. Can you confirm the 940 form, W2's and W3's and OH-IT-3 were filed?

Welcome to the Community forum, @usermindyp-mvp2012.

I'm here to help check if your forms were e-filed.

Once your forms are due for filing in QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and decided to submit the form via e-file, you'll receive several email communications reminding you when we will be processing the forms, when they have been transmitted, and when they are accepted.

Then, once payroll forms are e-filed, you can view them directly from the Archived Forms of your payroll taxes.

To check, here's how:

  1. In the left menu, click Taxes.
  2. Go to the Payroll Tax tab.
  3. Under Forms, select View and Print Archived Forms Under Annual Forms/Quarterly Forms.
  4. On the Drop-Down menu, select the forms you're looking for.

Then, to ensure that the form is submitted to the agency in a timely manner, it's important to check the status of the e-payment or e-filed form after it's submitted.

Should you need any further information, please don't hesitate to reach back out. I'm always happy to lend a helping hand. Take care!
