  1. QBO Bank Transactions wants me to match "Intuit Tax, QuickBooks Payroll, Tax Payment" then amount. I can match it but I don't know what it's for. The amount is significantly higher than anything I've ever paid so I'm confused what this is for.

Hi there, @Terry1203. These charges consist of payroll, sales tax, and tax payment. We can utilize the look up charge feature to verify the origin of the transaction. I'd be glad to walk you through the step-by-step process of doing such.

First, visit this website to look up your charge. Then, enter the payment method, exact charge amount, date of charge, and why are you looking up this charge.

Next, here are some possible reasons why your rate may be higher than expected:

  • You are currently using Payroll.
  • It could be that sales tax is added to the base subscription price.
  • You had promotional discounts that have expired, so you are now being billed the regular price for your subscription.
  • You recently upgraded from Simple Start to Essentials, or from Essentials to Plus.

For your better experience, open this article in QuickBooks Online: How to understand your subscription and charges.

For your future reference on how to handle your subscriptions in QBO: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

Let's make the most out of QuickBooks together. If you have any questions about your transactions, I'm always here to support you and help you find the best solutions.
