Can employees update their tax withholdings for Fed and State using QB Workforce?

The option to modify the Federal and State taxes on the QuickBooks Workforce page is unavailable. It has to be done on your QuickBooks Online account.

If your employees have access to the payroll section, they can change the taxes.

Just a heads up, when they have payroll access, they can also add or delete employees, make deposits and transfer funds, and many more.

Here's how to add the employee as one of the users:

1. From the Gear icon, select Manage users.
2. Click Add user.
3. Select Standard user.
4. Hit Next.
5. Modify their settings.
6. Then, continue with the on-screen instructions.

From there, they'll have to accept the invitation. Then they're good to edit the State and Federal Withholdings.
