Hello, @ptyson747.

Allow me to share some insights about correcting a pay date.

If you have already created a paycheck, yes, you can adjust the pay date by deleting the paycheck and creating a new one. Here's how to do it in QuickBooks:

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select Paycheck list.
  3. Select the paycheck you'd like to delete or void, then select Edit, Delete, or Void
  4. If you want to create a new paycheck, go to Payroll and select Employees.
  5. Fill in the necessary information, such as the pay date, and add the bonuses and regular payroll.

If the direct deposit paycheck is unprocessed, you can delete and recreate it. However, if it has been processed, you should void it and then create a paper check. In QuickBooks, you can edit, delete, or void paychecks by following the provided steps:

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select Paycheck list.
  3. Select the paycheck(s) you'd like to delete or void, then select EditDelete, or Void.
  4. Select Yes.
