Can I attach a file to a payroll check? I pay reimbursements on the paycheck and want to attach the mileage log

I appreciate you posting here in the Community, Tami. QuickBooks Online attaching files to a paycheck is currently unavailable. As a workaround, you'll want to consider attaching it to the employee's profile. This way, they'll be able to view the mileage log if you've invited them to QB Workforce.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Payroll menu.
2. Select the Employees tab, then open the appropriate employee.
3. Head to the Documents tab.
4. Click Add Documents.

QuickBooks Online also offers automatically tracking of mileage and export it from QuickBooks Online.
