I'd be glad to help you update or change your payroll period schedule, @cattell98-comcas.  

 

In QuickBooks Payroll, inaccuracies in pay periods on paychecks can arise from errors in the payroll schedule, unscheduled payroll executions, or incorrect date entries during paycheck creation. To change your payroll period schedule, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Payroll tab and then click Employees.
  3. Select your employee.
  4. From Employment details, select Start or Edit.
  5. From the Pay schedule dropdown, select the pay schedule for the employee moving forward. Or, to create a new pay schedule, select + Add pay schedule.
  6. Fill out the appropriate fields. Then select Save.
  7. When you're done, click the Save button.

 

If you want to edit the pay period, you must select or enter the correct pay period ending.
