Can I change pay day?

You can change an employee's payday by updating the corresponding payroll employment profile in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Yes, a payday or pay schedule of employees that is used for payroll processing is not fixed so you can it whenever needed. I'll show you how.

1. Go to Payroll.
2. Select Employees.
3. Find and select the name of the employee whom you want to change the payday.
4. Under Employment details, select Edit.
5. From the Pay schedule drop-down menu, choose a schedule. Or select +Add pay schedule to create a new one.
6. Make sure to the correct dates of the pay period and select Save.
7. Click Save to complete the change you've made.
