Question

Can I check my E-Service status? I cannot file my NC Income Tax for period 03/01/2022 - 03/31-2022. The system tells me to check my E-Services Status. I am not sure how?

My liability is currently zero for that period. However, the system still wants me to file a zero report. It is due by 4/15/2022. It continues to show that this filing is INCOMPLETE.

Let me assist you with your state electronic payment, @kyourick-yahoo-c.

Yes, you can check your E-Service status if it was changed that resulted in this error. You can follow these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.
  2. Go to the Electronic Services or E-file and E-pay tab.
  3. Please see the status of the Federal E-Pay & E-File on the Electronic Services (E-Services) Enrollment.

Also, you'll want to reach out to our Payroll Specialist so they can further check it and provide the necessary actions. They can also check if the NC Income Tax for March 2022 form is ready for filing your taxes before the due date.

Here's how:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and choose the Talk to a human option (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter the entire prompt message.
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us.
  4. Tap Let’s talk then choose either Get a call or Start messaging.

Before anything else, may I ask what it is you'd like to do? Would you like to check your e-payment status? Or would you like to check your e-filing status? If so, I'll input the steps below so you can proceed to check them out.

To check the e-filing status in QBO, here's how:

  1. Select Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Select Filings.
  3. Select Archived forms and filings.

If you want to check the status of your e-payment, here's how:

  1. Select Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Select Payments.
  3. Select Tax payment history.
