Can I file an amended 941?

Currently, filing of amended or corrected forms is not available in QuickBooks Online. You can manually process and send them to the IRS. Click this link to reach the IRS: FSLET Customer Services.

You can print payroll reports to have a reference when filing the amended Form 941, even if your payroll account is inactive.

Here's how:

1. In the left menu, click Reports.
2. In the search bar, look for a payroll report.
3. Filter the dates according to your preferences.
4. Select Run Report.
5. Click the drop-down arrow from the upper right corner of your screen.
6. Choose Export to Excel.
7. Open the downloaded file and print it from there.
