Hi there, psherwood.

Yes, you can! I'm here to share a report you can use to get the total overtime paid in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can pull up either the Payroll Detail or Payroll Summary by Employee reports. This report gives you detailed info on your employee's payroll.

Here's how to run the reports:

  1. In QBO, go to Business overview, select Reports.
  2. In the search field, enter Payroll Detail or Payroll Summary by Employee, then select it in the drop-down to open.
  3. Set the date range.
  4. Click the Customize option at upper right.
  5. Set the report to include Total and details
  6. Make sure to select the check boxes for Gross Pay and Hours
  7. Hit Run report to refresh.

I'm adding this article that walks you through everything you need to know about overtime pay, how to calculate it, and critical mistakes to avoid: How to calculate overtime pay for hourly and salaried employees

For more information about different reports available in QBO, check out this article for future reference: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll. It'll show you a list of payroll reports, guide you on how to customize, and print them.

Please let me know if you have additional questions about this or anything else. I'm always here to answer them. Keep safe.
