Can I not add myself as an employee under the Time tab? Error message “Something‘s not quite right. Another customer, vendor, or employee is already using this name.

I'm here to guide you on how you can add employees to QuickBooks. 

 

QuickBooks Online won't allow us to add a customer, vendor, or employee using the same name. The reason behind this is to avoid confusion that may affect your entire accounting data. We always advise adding a special character or digit to fix this.

 

For example:

 

  • LeizylM- you add M at the end of the employee's name.
  • LeizylE- you add E at the end of the employee's name.
