Can I only allow certain employees to see some of my services but not all when recording time in workforce?

I don't need all my employees to see all service options when recording time in workforce, can I set it so they only see the service options that pertain to them?

If you want to restrict access to time tracking in the Workforce app for certain team members, follow the steps below on how:

 

1. In QuickBooks Time, navigate to Company Settings, select Time Options, then Time Entry.
2. Uncheck "Allow team members to manage their timesheets" and "Allow team members to track time on the mobile app," then click Save.
3. Go to My Team and choose a team member.
4. Select the Permissions tab.
5. Choose Mobile time entry, and then click Save. If you want the team member to have access to manage their timesheets from any platform, choose Manage my timesheets, then hit Save.
6. Repeat these steps for each team member you want to grant mobile time entry access to.

 

On the other hand, if you want to assign view permissions to your employees and users, follow these steps:

 

1. In QuickBooks Time, go to My Team, then select the team member you want to grant permissions to.
2. Select Permissions, then choose one of these roles: Admin, Payroll Manager, or Custom.
3. Select Manage timesheets for all team members, then click Save.
