Can I run payroll from the quickbooks app?

The ability to run payroll from the QuickBooks app is currently unavailable. Let me provide additional details about this so you can handle your payroll in QuickBooks Online efficiently.

You can always access your payroll account via mobile as long as you use a browser. In case you're not comfortable performing this on your phone, you can process the procedure by opening a browser on your PC. I'll walk you through the methods below so you can start doing payroll:

1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
2. Choose Run Payroll.
3. If applicable, select your desired payroll schedule, then Continue.
4. Select or review the Pay period and Pay date.
5. Choose the employees you'd like to pay.
6. Select the column, or select Actions ⋮, then Edit paycheck to enter your pay details.
7. Click Preview payroll and select or review the QuickBooks Bank account to track your payroll.
8. Select Preview payroll details or Submit payroll.
9. Click Close.
