Can I set up payroll for direct deposit for 1099 contractors?

I do not have any W-2 employees.

Yes, you can set up direct deposit, kerri14.

 

 You'll need to have a company bank account connected to use direct deposit. Then, you're good to add your contractor's bank account information. Here's how:

 

  1. From the Payroll tab, select Contractors.
  2. Select Add a contractor.
  3. Select Bank account.
  4. Enter their bank information.
  5. Click Save.

 

Also, you can invite your contractor to provide their W-9 business and bank account information. Then, they will be invited to create a QuickBooks Self-Employed account, where they can manage their profile.
