Can I still get my employee W-2 forms if I cancelled my QB account? If not, how do I get/file them?

Hello there, @familyloveventur.

 

Once you cancel your payroll subscription or QuickBooks Online Payroll account, you can no longer access or get the W-2 forms and other tax forms.

 

Please note that before canceling your payroll subscription, make sure to complete and process your final payroll and print necessary payroll reports,

 

If you have a payroll service where you pay or file your own taxes, make sure you:

 

  • Pay any outstanding tax deposits
  • Process and file any outstanding annual or quarterly forms.

 

As another option, you can manually file the W-2 form outside QuickBooks. You'll want to purchase pre-printed W-2 copies from any retail store. Then, use printed payroll reports as your reference when entering information.
