Let me provide some information on how you can handle multiple accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), protops-sc-gmail.

It is not possible to run two businesses with a single QuickBooks Online subscription. Each company file has its own paid subscription, but you can access them all with the same sign-in information. This allows you to switch between companies quickly, allowing you to manage everything more efficiently. If you have multiple companies in QuickBooks with separate accounts, here's how to move them all into one account. To learn more about this one, see the Create or add another company file to QuickBooks Online article.

The other option you can have is to subscribe to our product again and able to switch between two businesses by logging in with the same credentials. Here's how:

  1. Go to our QuickBooks Online page and then select Plans & Pricing.
  2. Select a QBO product and subscribe.
  3. You can either add a payroll plan or not and then click Checkout.
  4. Enter the same email address, mobile number, and password.
  5. Then click One More Step and then choose Sign in.
  6. Click Yes, that's correct.
  7. Then enter your billing info to Get started.

When you log in to QuickBooks, you will now have two businesses. Then, if you want to change companies, click the Gear icon in the upper right corner and select Switch under Profile. If you have a duplicate company file that you need to delete and it has been less than 60 days, we can purge it. Let me demonstrate:

  1. Go back to QBO and edit the URL in your browser's address bar. Delete everything after the last and enter purgecompany. For example: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage, change to https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany.
  2. Type in Yes to confirm that you want to delete your company data.
  3. Select Wipe data.

If the account is older than 60 days, we will have to cancel the duplicate subscription. QBO will delete the other company after 365 days. To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps:

  1. Login to QBO and choose the duplicate account you wanted to cancel.
  2. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and then select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose Billing and Subscription.
  4. Under the QuickBooks section, click Cancel.
  5. Follow the steps to cancel your account.

For the complete details, check out the Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial article. Feel free to visit our Account management page for more insights about managing your Intuit product users.
