Can I use direct deposit for a contractor if they live in Canada?

QuickBooks only supports U.S.-based accounts. However, your contractor must have a US bank account to meet the requirements.

For now, you can make use of your bank's transfer service such as Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online (QBO) to pay your contractors with foreign accounts.
