I am trying to forward quickbook selfemployed to turbotax. I use it for a rental property. It should do schedule E deduction. but instead, it is going to Schedule C. Is there anyway to make it happen in schedule E

Welcome to the Community space, @dripegk.

I'm here to give you insights and clear things out. QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is intended for people who just need the Schedule C categories and not the Schedule E categories.

Aside from that, you are correct; you can utilize QBSE for the rental companies. The Rent and Lease category can be used to identify rental and lease charges for equipment, office space, and property rentals.

Feel free to read this article for more details: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

In addition, QBSE automatically integrates transactions, records mileage, exports your Schedule C, and assists you in maximizing deductions at tax time.

If you want to learn about the different QuickBooks products and versions, you can read this article: See which version of QuickBooks is right for you.

For additional questions about managing your QBSE account, never hesitate to reply to this post. I'll be happy to help. Take care!
