Question

Can I utilize preprinted 2023 W2/W3 forms with Quickbooks online? I switched to Quickbooks online mid-2023 and am not use to this system.

I need to mail the W2s for both employee/employer but can't figure out how to change setting for pre-printed forms.

To modify the setting for pre-printed forms when printing W-2s in QuickBooks Online, follow these steps:

 

  1. In the Gear icon, click Payroll Settings.
  2. Select the Form printing under preferences and decide how to print the forms.
  3. Once done, hit OK.

Are you kidding?  What the hell is the matter with Quickbooks???  Per your suggestion, it DOES NOT ALLOW printing on the official (2 per page) W2's.  I know why.  Because you want to sell your forms at a ridiculous price.  QUICKBOOKS sucks.
