Can IRS Form 1096 be filled out and printed by QB? I can't find the option in the QB software. Last year, it had that option.

Hey there, civicpub. I've got some information regarding Form 1096. 

Printing and filling out your Form 1096 is unavailable in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Contractor Payments. If you're filing electronically, please know that it isn't required by the IRS. 

However, you can get the same info by selecting the View Summary. This way, you'll be able to see the summary of your e-filed 1099s. 

If you e-filed your 1099 you can print them by following these steps: 

1. Go to the Taxes menu located in your left-hand menu. 
2. Choose 1099 filings. 
3. Click View 1099 for you to see the PDF copy.
