Can quickbooks send one lump sum to be deducted from my bank account for payroll instead of each individual check?

Each employees paycheck is deducted from my bank account instead of the total payroll for the pay period. Is there anyway to change this?

Sending one lump sum to be deducted from bank for payroll is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Jason. Let me discuss the specifics below.

Currently, QBO displays individual paychecks, and changing this is currently unavailable. The per-paycheck withdrawal procedure is intentionally designed to provide more control and visibility over each transaction. While this may not align with your preference for a consolidated deduction, it does offer some advantages.

It simplifies the process of tracking payroll expenses and makes reconciling payroll data with bank statements more straightforward. Additionally, the system has to calculate tax payments by each check, ensuring compliance and reducing the risk of errors.

Moreover, I've attached this article to help you review your employee taxes and contributions: Payroll Summary report

@CamelleT  That's funny, seeing how direct deposit in QuickBooks Desktop works exactly the way the OP wants their payroll withdrawals to work.

Just another demonstration of how worthless QBO is, I suppose.
