Question

Can someone help me figure out why data, specifically mileage & trips, are not transferring from QBSE on my Android phone to QBSE chrome version on my desktop computer?

My phone said I have 81 trips that I need to review, while my computer is showing only one.

I can think of multiple reasons why mileage and trips don't transfer properly, merry. I have some ideas and troubleshooting steps to share so we can rule this out.

Once you enable mileage tracking, the QuickBooks Self-Employed app automatically tracks your work trips. In your case, you can adjust the settings of your Android phone to ensure everything is tracked correctly. Here's how:

  1. Verify your device's location settings.
  2. Disconnect Wi-Fi networks while you're driving.
  3. Adjust the mileage settings.
  4. Disable background data and battery restrictions.
  5. Update the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  6. Update your phone's operating system.

See this module for the detailed steps: Fix mileage tracking issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed for Android.
