Can someone help with the following, how do I adjust a prorate a salary in a specific payroll?

Hi there, @lmiller-larcoent. Let me share with you some information about adjusting employees' payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can adjust the salary of your employee by overriding the hours worked.

Here's how:

1. Click on Workers or Payroll at the left pane, then tap on Employees.
2. Tap on Run Payroll.
3. Select the pay schedule of the employee. Then select Continue.
4. Check the box to the left of the employee.
5. Under the Salary column, select the hyperlinked dollar amount.
6. Select adjust Salary this time only.
7. Enter the hours of unpaid time off. Then select Apply.
