Hi @AmyK2775.

Happy New Year!

To clarify, are you referring to changing from paying your employees by check to setting up direct deposit for them?

Direct deposit requires a US bank account that is set up for ACH transactions. After you set up a direct deposit for your company, you can add your employees' information.

With payroll, you can pay your employees with direct deposit. into their checking, savings, pay card, or money market accounts. Here's how to set up and add employees to direct deposit. Accounts must be United States accounts that accept ACH transactions.

It can take 1-3 business days to set up a checking account for direct deposit. Once it's set up, you'll use this account to pay your employees and your payroll taxes.

You can only use Intuit’s direct deposit services to pay your employees or contractors. To pay any other company expenses, you will need to use another method of payment.

If you need any additional details about direct deposit or anything else, let me know. I'm happy to anytime.

Take Care!
