Can you set up the salesman to see job costing with having access to the backing info?

I have salesman that design and sell projects and I would like them to have access to job costing/profitability to see how they are doing on bidding projects, but I don't want to give hem access to the checking accounts/books. How do I do that?

What kind of business do you run? Consider having a project management app instead for your sales team. You don't need to give them any access to your QBO account. You may ask them creating the Estimate/Invoice on that app and it will integrate with QBO.
