It's good to see you here in the Community, @vickeyvail.
I've come with a solution that can help you enter sick leave for the previous week.
Just to clarify, are you trying to create a new paycheck for the previous week and enter sick leave? If so, let's find out what's causing the issue by performing some troubleshooting steps.
Before we start, did you receive any error message when trying to enter a sick leave when processing the payroll? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
In the meantime, let's log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via a private browser. This will help verify if it's a browser issue. To open a private browser, press this shortcut key on your keyboard:
Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: Command + Option + P
Once logged in, process the payroll and enter sick leave again to double-check. If this works, they need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If they get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.
However, if you're trying to enter sick leave from the previous week's processed payroll, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Team. They have the tools to help you correct the already processed payroll so you can add the sick leave.
Please come back to this post and let me know how it goes, @vickeyvail. I want to make sure this concern is taken care of.
You may want to run several payroll reports in QuickBooks Online. This will help you view useful information about your business and employees.
