Change unemployment rates

The SUI rate withheld from EMPLOYEES has been increased in Pennsylvania.  (separate rates for employer and employee)  I want to change the EMPLOYEE rate.  I have gone to the payroll section using the gear icon and can find and change the EMPLOYER rate - which I don't want to do.  I just can't seem to find how to change the EMPLOYEE rate.

Already have spent way too much time chatting with QB about this.

Hello there, @PNERCD. Welcome to the Community.

Let me share some insights about updating employees' SUI rates for the state of Pennsylvania (PA) in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP), so you can keep your taxes managed accordingly.

When you change your SUI rate (employer portion) from the Gear icon's Payroll settings, the QBOP system automatically calculates the employee portion to its new rate (0.07%). To do so, please refer to this article (QuickBooks Online Payroll section) for the step-by-step guide: Update your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate.

You may also want to access your state agency website to learn more about unemployment and other taxes: Pennsylvania Office of Unemployment Compensation.

Additionally, there are a variety of payroll reports you can use to view information about your business finances and employees. You may want to check out this article for the complete list of payroll reports and a guide on how to customize them in QBOP: Run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have other payroll concerns or questions about managing employees in QBOP. I'm always ready to help. Take care, and have a great day, @PNERCD.
