I know how important assign your payroll transactions to the correct account register in QuickBooks.
You'll need to set up your bank account in your chart of accounts (if you haven't create yet). Once done, change your bank account with the payroll service.
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Payroll Settings.
- Look for the section titled Bank Accounts.
- In the section titled Bank Accounts, select Edit.
- Click Update. Then, select Add new bank account.
- If you bank with one of the 8 banks listed, select the bank and enter your online banking user ID and password. Otherwise, search your bank name or select Enter bank info manually.
- Enter your routing and account number.
- Hit Save. Once done, click Accept and Submit.
If you're unable to change your bank account in QuickBooks Online, please contact our Payroll Team Support so you'll get through with this concern easily. Please utilize the Help icon within your QBO account and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
