I'm here to help you modify your settings for DE9 form taxes in QuickBooks Online.

 

To update some information, we can do it in the payroll settings. The steps below will walk you through the complete steps.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Payroll settings.
  3. Look for California tax
  4. Click Edit to update the payment schedule, insurance rate, and tax rate (if needed).
  5. Hit Save to reflect the changes.

In addition, we can also review your employee's profile to double-check the setup. Correcting the details and setup is a good thing to do before filing the forms: Edit or change employee info in payroll.
