Delete pay check

Hi all,

 

We have processed payroll for a few employees with a day on the 30th May. The payroll was processed 7 days before the pay date. 

We want to delete the pay checks for a couple of employees as we have some amendments but I have tried contacting support who have said nothing can be done?

 

I was hoping we would have enough time given pay date is 7 days away.

You can delete paychecks if you haven't sent your payroll to us, Ssc_93.

 

Depending on your processing time, you may have the option to edit, delete, or void a paycheck. If the paychecks have not yet been processed, you can remove them from your QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP) account by following these steps:

 

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select Paycheck list
  3. Choose the paycheck(s) you'd like to delete or void, then select Delete or Void.
  4. Click Delete

 

If you're unable to make the desired changes or receive an error message indicating the payroll has already been processed, I recommend contacting our Payroll Care team once more for further assistance.
