You've got me here to help you get rid of the payroll error, @diane-jpm

The payroll error 2107 frequently occurs when you fail to send employee salaries via Direct Deposit (DD). The following are the most common causes of this error:

  • General internet connection issues and invalid security certificates.
  • Internet security and personal firewall software settings.
  • Incorrect system date and time properties.
  • Sending in multi-user mode.
  • A network time-out prevents QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) from connecting to the server.

Let's also ensure that your QBDT program and payroll tax table are updated so you always have the most recent security patches and bug fixes. Once done, send payroll again

If you still encounter the error, I suggest performing the additional steps indicated in this article: Troubleshoot Payroll Service Server Error or Payroll Connection Error.

Also, it's easy to view your employee data and monitor your business finances in QBDT. To do so, you can open any payroll reports that suit your needs. To give you a list of those reports and an overview of what data they show, please head to the Excel-based payroll reports page.

Stay in touch if you need additional assistance in sending payroll in QBDT. Feel free to leave a comment below. Take care always.
