Can you setup an item to be a memo only field on paycheck and W2?

I recognize the convenience of having the ability to set up payroll items on memo fields, 4610.

 

Currently, we're unable to set up these items on memos for your paychecks and W2 forms. As memo fields only apply to customer statements and checks, this feature is used to track created transactions accordingly. Thus, setting up payroll items on this field isn't available to appear on your employee's paychecks and W2 forms. 

 

That said, I'd recommend sending this feedback to our product developers. They're always open to suggestions to help improve our products and may consider having this option available in future product enhancements.

 

Here's how to submit feedback:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu at the top and select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Click on Product Suggestion and enter your feedback or suggestions.
  3. Once done, click Send feedback.
