Question

Direct Deposit

We use direct deposit for our employees.  Only two of our employees get the email from QB Workforce alerting them that their paystub is ready to be viewed.  How do I get QB to generate the emails.  I went to employees, manage cloud services, selected invite employees, signed  in - hoping to reinvite people.  But I cannot get past this screen.  I get a screen that says by signing in I agree to the license agreement and privacy statement - and there is no where to accept this.

Hi Sandra,

Thank you for posting your concern about employees not getting an alert from Workforce. Let me help you out.

You mentioned re-inviting them. I want to ask if they have had access before or if it's their first time checking their pay stubs on Workforce because you may not need to re-invite them.

We'll take couple of steps to see if this is a sync issue. First, please make sure the employees have the correct email addresses in their profiles in QuickBooks. Then, go to the Employees menu and select Send Payroll Data.

If your employees still don't get an email, please contact our Workforce Support to check this further using more tools. They are available Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM PST. They can also check why you have no option to get through the license agreement and privacy statement.

On the other hand, your employees can use this reference when checking their stubs online: View your pay stubs, time off, and year-to-date pay in QuickBooks Workforce.

Let me know if you have more questions about sending pay stubs to employees. Take care and have a good one!
