Direct Deposit with Quickbooks

Hello Friends, 

We are new to Direct Deposit with QB and I want to make sure I am in line with the direct deposit deadlines for payroll.  We don't pay specifically on the 15 and last day of the month.  If the 15th is on a Saturday, then we pay on the Friday before, etc... 

Our next payday is Wednesday, 12/15.  What is the day I need to submit my direct deposit?  Is it Friday the 10th or Monday the 13th.  I'm trying to understand the 5:45pm, 2 banking days before the pay date to employees.  

Any help or suggestions?  Can't set up schedule in QB because of variations in pay dates.

Welcome to QuickBooks Community. I'm here to help you in processing direct deposit payroll.

 

QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll has 2 business day lead time and you need to submit the payroll before 5:00 PM PST. Don't miss the cutoff time otherwise your employees will get paid a day later.

 

If you plan to pay your employees on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, then you need to process and submit your payroll on or before Monday 5:00 PM PST.
