Direct deposits and paychecks are not linking to employees in the register

All paychecks and DD entries are showing up in registger as generic entries and not matching to the employees.

I understand the importance of matching paychecks and direct deposits to your employees, userfastdoc. Let me share some information about this matter.

 

The entries in the Chart of Accounts will depend on the transactions you entered in QuickBooks. Thus, I recommend checking and comparing your paycheck list and the register. 

 

If it doesn't match with the register, you can perform some troubleshooting steps to see if the problem is within your browser. In most cases, cache-induced browsers can affect the program's performance. 

 

You can start by opening the register using an incognito or private browser. Please refer to the shortcut keys below:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If this works, you can start clearing your browser's cache to remove and fix the issue and help the program run optimally. 

 

On the other hand, if the paycheck and direct deposit entries entered are incorrect, you can edit, delete, or void them.  

 

Additionally, you can run a payroll report to view the information about your business and employees.
