Do I always have to go into the QB online mobile app and actually select track mileage? Sometimes I forget.

You can track trip mileage with your Trips Live Activity feature. This is only available for iPhone 14 models and above.
 

Here's how it works:
 

1. Use the Menu (☰) icon and go to Mileage.
2. Tap Track a Trip.
3. Hit Start to begin tracking your trip.
4. Enter the destination address in your Add Destination screen or select one from the list.
5. A Live Activity Message will be displayed and Dynamic Island will appear on the lock or home screen.
   
   

Another option is tracking mileage automatically:
 

1. Use your Menu (☰) icon, then tap Mileage.
2. Hit Auto-tracking.
3. Select the Toggle switch for Auto-tracking.
