Do I need both active "Wages" and "Salaries and Wages" accounts? Are they duplicating the same information?

Since you have two active wage accounts, we can consult your accountant to verify if you need to have both accounts active. They'll help you keep your data accurate.

 

If the other one is no longer needed, causing duplicate data. We can go to the payroll settings to ensure the correct wage account is mapped. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll settings.
  2. Click the Edit icon in the Accounting section.
  3. Under the Wages expenses, click the Edit icon.
