Do your employees get notified when you pay out a bonus?

I can provide clarification to your question about proving employee bonuses in QuickBooks Online.

 

Yes, employees get notified when an employer provides a bonus payout. However, they can opt-out and choose not to get email notifications if they sign up for QuickBooks Workforce.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Have your employee sign in to QuickBooks Workforce.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top left corner, then choose Email Notification.
  3. Turn the email notification on/off by toggling the checkbox Send me an email when new pay stubs are available.
