Does anyone know why the mileage tracker quits working after a few months until I call quickbooks and it miraculously starts again?

Every time I call quickbooks they tell me I have to have the app running in the background for the mileage to track. I have never done this and it works some of the time....any suggestions?

    I'm here to share some information about using the mileage tracker.

     

    For the system to auto-track the work trips, you'll have to run the app in the background.

     

    Here's how:

     

    1. Go to the Mileage menu.
    2. Select Auto-tracking.
    3. Select the Auto-tracking toggle to turn it on.
