If you've received a notice about a new deposit schedule or filing requirements, you can easily update that in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Make sure to update it before the effective date.
Here are the steps:
Go to the Gear icon (⚙) and choose Payroll Settings.
Click on Edit ✎ next to the federal or state tax deposit schedule you wish to update.
Select Change or add a new schedule.
Click on the new filing and deposit schedule. Then, select an effective date.
