Welcome to the Community, Sandy.

Let me share information regarding electronically filing 941 and Schedule B in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Yes, you can quarterly e-file your 941 forms and Schedule B in QBO since you can choose how you want your payroll filings to be handled. To do that, you have to change the preferences for handling your forms in your QBO account. You can refer to the steps provided below.

  1. Go to Gear icon ⚙, then choose  Payroll Settings.
  2. From the Taxes and Forms section, click the pencil icon ✎ to edit.
  3. Ensure to mark the box beside the Automation taxes and forms
  4. Select Save, then Done

Next, complete the questions asked in the automated taxes section on the Payroll overview page since it consists of the information needed to pay and file your taxes.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Payroll, then select Overview.
  2. In the Automate taxes box, click on Finish up
  3. Revisit the Status and Who pays & files column for each tax.
  4. If there are warnings in the status, select the Action link.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish up what is needed.

Moreover, visit this article for more information on configuring how to e-file your forms and taxes in QBO: Set up QuickBooks Online Payroll to pay and file your payroll taxes and forms.

Furthermore, if you've paid taxes outside of QuickBooks but still showing as a tax due on your end, scan this article to know how to record them in your QBO: Record tax payments made outside of QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Return to this read if you have additional questions regarding e-filing your 941s in QBO. I'll be sure to answer them as soon as I can. Have a great day ahead, Sandy!
