Emailed paystubs

Quickbooks Desktop Premier Plus 2023

We recently completed a bonus check run and printed the checks to hand them out to the employees. I printed the checks yesterday and than that evening all the employees received their paystubs in their email. I did not send them. Is it possible in this version of QB that paystubs get auto-emailed out? If it’s not, is there any way to see who sent the paystubs?

I appreciate the detailed info on your concern, @Hschiller. Let me provide some information about emailing paystubs in QuickBooks.

 

The option to automatically send paystubs to your employee isn't possible. QuickBooks Desktop delivers each pay stub as a PDF to your employee’s email address. 

 

If you wish to see what happened to those paystubs and who sent them, we can run the Audit Trail. 

 

If you want to see what happened to those paystubs and who sent them, we can run the Audit Trail. To proceed, here's how:

 

  1. Select Reports at the top menu.
  2. Choose Account & Taxes.
  3. Click Audit Trail.
  4. On the report screen, click Customize Report.
  5. Add the necessary filter.
  6. Once done, click OK.
