Employee in journal entry but not in employee list

Let me help you get past this so you can access and manage your employee's profile in QuickBooks Online (QBO), moxford.

When we create an employee directly from the Employees tab or the Journal entry (JE) page, the employee's profile will reflect on your Employees List if you have an active Payroll subscription.

On the other hand, if your Payroll plan has expired, the employee won't appear or be visible on the Employees List when added from the JE page. In case this happens, I suggest resubscribing to our Payroll product.

However, if your Payroll subscription is active and the employee is not showing up on your Employees List, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to verify if this is browser-related or data issues.

To start, access your account using a private browser by following the keyboard shortcut keys below

• Safari: Command + Option + P
• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

If your employee's profile appears on the Employees List, this means your regular browser has issues to fix. You can clear them after. You can also utilize other supported browsers as an alternative.
