Employee retenion credit on Form 941

How can we get the employee retention credit on the Form 941?  The necessary "box" does not let us override.

Let me share a few information, Pracctg.

 

We'll have to set up and track the Employee retention credit. This way, it will show on the 941 form. 

 

First, you'll have to set up the expense accounts for the retention credit.

 

The next step is to set up three payroll items:

  • Retention Credit - Employee Addition
  • Retention Credit - Health (Company Contribution
  • Retention Credit (Payroll Item)

Then, run a regular payroll.

 

Lastly, you'll have to pay the liabilities.
