Employee time activities not showing up when I run payroll

I run payroll for five employees who enter their time in QB Time, and it all works fine for four of them. The fifth one - call him Jim - his time activities take 12+ hours to show up for me after he enters them. Our work week is Friday to Thursday, and we run payroll Thursday night so the crew gets paid on Friday, but I can't do that when I don't have all of Jim's hours until Friday morning.

I can't enter Jim's hours manually, because he's already entered them, and that would result in a double entry when they eventually show up. I have tried using a different browser and clearing my cache, and neither works - but everyone else is also entering hours on Thursday afternoons, and I'm only having this problem with Jim's. He is using QB Time on Android.

I can see that you've already performed basic browser troubleshooting to isolate the problem. Since the delay is only happening to one user, the issue may be related to the employee's mobile app.

 

QuickBooks Time supports both iOS and Android platforms. Unusual behaviors like delays usually happen when the QuickBooks Time tracking app is damaged.

 

For now, I suggest having your employee uninstall and reinstall the app. Your employee can click Google Play or App Store to download the correct program through this website: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/time-tracking/mobile/.

 

Also, please know that your phone's configurations affect the behavior of the installed apps. Avoid using Low Power, Battery Saving, or Optimization Modes and enable Background App Refresh to ensure data syncs faster.
