Let's work together and get to the bottom of this, @micasanursing.

I can provide some insights on how to isolate this issue. I'd suggest logging out and logging back in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) to refresh your account and for the updates to take effect.

If this is not the case, I recommend accessing your account in a private or incognito mode and checking your employees' paychecks. There's a great chance that this issue is caused by a stored cache from the browser. Thus, resulting in showing that you paid your employees multiple times.

Using a private window helps us in verifying the issue as this doesn't save any cache files. You can refer to these keyboard shortcuts in opening an incognito window.

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome browser)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browsers)
  • Command + Shift + N (Safari browser)

If your payroll shows you've only paid your employees once, I recommend clearing your regular browser's cache. This removes all the junk files from the browser and optimizes its performance. Using other supported browsers also helps in fixing the issue.

Additionally, you can also talk with your employees and verify if they've received more than the amount of their pay.

I'm also adding this link that can guide you in case you want to learn how to delete your employees' paycheck: Delete or void employee paychecks.

If there's anything else you need assistance with about your payroll and QBO, you're always welcome to tag me in your reply. I'll be here ready to back you up. Wishing you and your business continued success!
