Hi there, drpecaut.

The unusual behavior that your employee is experiencing right now is usually caused by the browser's cache. To clear this out, I suggest letting the employee perform a few basic troubleshooting steps.

Let's open QuickBooks Workforce using an incognito or private browser to see if your employee can log in from there and view the paycheck. This mode will prevent browsing history from being stored.

Here's how to use private browser:

  • For Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N

  • For Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox : Press Ctrl + Shift + P

  • For Safari: Press Command + Shift + N

If the steps above works, I suggest to clear your browser's cache to help your applications run better on your computer and to completely removes browsing history.

If the steps above will not work, you can use supported browsers as alternatives.

Take note that when logging in to workforce.intuit.com QuickBooks Workforce runs smoothly on latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (for Mac).

Please check this article for more details about accessing paycheck using QuickBooks Workforce: QuickBooks Workforce: Access your paychecks and W-2’s online.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you succeed with QuickBooks.

I am having the same issues.  Have a few employees that can't access their paycheck info.

Same Error message: We weren't able to show your payroll info....Refreshing your screen often fixes the problem.    I have tried all browsers.  Tried in incognito mode as well.  Still no luck.

I was on the phone with QB Payroll last week regarding this issue they tried troubleshooting it with me with no Resolve.

February 5, 2020

Hi @palletsareus,

I have more steps we can try to get past this error message. You'll need to have your employees access the original invite email that was sent from your QuickBooks Admin. Then, create an account from there.

Here's what your employees should do.

  1. Go to https://accounts.intuit.com/index.html and sign in using your Email or user ID and Password.
  2. Edit the User ID and change it into something else.
  3. Open the original email invite. Then, click the Get access to paychecks link.
  4. Select Create Account and type in the original email address and create a new password.

Once done, your employee should be able to access their paystubs online.

I've got this handy article about view your paychecks and W-2s online in QuickBooks Workforce for more information. Also, you can read our page to get answers to common QuickBooks Workforce questions.

Please know that you're always welcome to come back anytime if you have other concerns. We're here to help. Thank you for posting and have a great day ahead.

I'm having the same issue,  when logging in i get this msg,  Looks like you don't have Workforce

It can be caused by too much cache, Mesaaz480. Let's try a few steps to fix it.

To start with, open Workforce through an incognito window. This is the best place to identify web issues. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you're able to successfully log in, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. We advise our users to clear them out periodically. This is to prevent the program to behave differently.

Moreover, you can also use a different browser like Google or Firefox.

Although, if you're still unable to log in, I'd suggest reaching out to our payroll support so an agent can take a better look at this. Just follow the steps my colleague at the top.

We're just around if you have other concerns. Feel free to swing by.

February 16, 2022

My employer is using Quickbooks Online payroll again (not used this in several years). I receive an e-mail from Intuit with a link to click on to view my paycheck, but of course I do not have/remember my password. I clicked on forgot my password and was e-mailed a link with a varification code. When I entered that code, it just says I need to contact customer support. I tried that also, but was told to go on this website for help.

Please help me view my paycheck stub.

thanks,

Anita

Having trouble logging in and going

May 25, 2023

Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your concern with us, Janes.

You mentioned you’re having trouble logging in. Is it the same concern as other users who are unable to access paystubs online in QuickBooks Workforce? Moreover, did you receive any error messages or prompts? This helps us determine the best resolution for you.

If so, have you tried all recommendations above? If not yet, it would be best to perform them first to sort it out.

Otherwise, you’ll want to reach out to us through this chat link to have it checked. Our representatives can perform further investigation about it if need be.

Another way is to communicate with your employer so they can raise this matter. You can provide this contact option that includes details regarding our support hours so they can connect with us at their convenience. All they have to do is to select the product they’re using and follow the instructions to get help.

I’m adding this guide to learn how to view and print your pay stubs online: View your pay stubs, time off, and year-to-date pay in QuickBooks Workforce.

If you need more help, I’m ready to explore and assist you anytime. Also, I’d appreciate it if you can provide us updates. Keep me posted!

hello my name is Marta Gonzalez i am an employee for Landis Rising Star Academy i am having issues logging into my my work force app.

Thank you for joining this thread, Martha. Let me help you log in to  QuickBooks Workforce.

Before providing any troubleshooting steps, did you receive any error messages or codes when logging in to the Workforce app? Any information you can provide ensures a timely resolution.

Also, here are some key steps to troubleshoot sign-in issues in your QuickBooks Workforce account:

  • If you already have a QuickBooks Workforce account with a different employer, make sure to give your new employer the same email address.
  • If you have access to QuickBooks Online, you’ll need to use a different email address for your QuickBooks Workforce account. We recommend using your work email address for QuickBooks Online and your email for Workforce.
  • Your invite is valid for up to 30 days from when it was sent. If it’s been longer than 30 days, have your employer send you a new invite.
  • If your employer had to resend your invite, make sure to open the most recent invite.

For more details about QuickBooks Workforce, see this link: Set up your QuickBooks Workforce account.

A standard web browser utilizes a memory cache to operate efficiently and load pages more quickly. However, as data accumulates, it can lead to unexpected outcomes. To begin addressing the issue, have your employee log in to QuickBooks Workforce using a private browsing window.

Feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito window depending on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

If it works, they can go back to their original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported, up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

Here are some articles that can help you in managing your QuickBooks Workforce account:

Please see the reference for details on how to use QuickBooks Workforce to see your pay stubs, W-2s, and other job data, including your home address and bank account information: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce.

If you have any trouble accessing your Workforce account, add them below. It will be my pleasure to help you more. Stay safe.

I can't get into my pay check stubs

September 18, 2024

Thanks for letting us know, Terry. Let's work together to identify possible reasons you can't access your paychecks in QuickBooks.

To begin with, did you encounter any errors when trying to access your paystubs? If so, sharing the specific error message would help us pinpoint the issue and offer an appropriate solution.

If you're an employee encountering unexpected behavior, like runtime errors, we can perform basic browser troubleshooting to fix the issue. Stored temporary internet files could cause minor issues when accessing your pay stub.

Let's start by accessing your QuickBooks Workforce account in a private/incognito browser. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

Once you're in, navigate to the Paychecks section to view your pay stub. If it's working fine, we'll have to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to eliminate the junk files.

If the same thing happens, we can use other supported browsers. It could be that the one you're currently using has a temporary problem with QuickBooks Workforce.

Otherwise, if you're an employer trying to access paystubs, Let's ensure your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release so you'll have the latest features and fixes. This step can avoid related issues when navigating the program.

Here's how:

  1. Click this link: Update to the Latest Release.
  2. Ensure your product is selected. Otherwise, select the Change link and pick your QuickBooks product.
  3. Choose Update to download the update file.
  4. Hit Setup Automatic Updates to let QuickBooks automatically download and install the latest updates.

Furthermore, I'll share this article detailing how to inform your employees when new pay stubs are accessible for viewing online: Email pay stubs from QuickBooks Desktop.

I'm also sharing some helpful references that you can check to help manage your paychecks and W-2s:
