Employees unable to download or print paystubs off workforce

Starting with the previous payroll... our employees when logging into workforce to view their paystub could download it, or print it.   Neither are possible now.... what's changed, and how do we fix it?

I am dealing with the same issue as we speak ! it is super frustrating and I cant get anyone in service to answer

I will also feel frustrated if I'm barred from printing and downloading paystubs in Workforce. Let me make it up to you by ensuring this gets resolved.

 

The issue encountered by your employees could be cache-related. The search engine they regularly use when accessing their Workforce account utilizes cached data to load web pages faster. However, excessive cache can lead to problems that cause QuickBooks performance to degrade and affect the account's functionality.

 

To rectify this, I recommended asking your employees to log in to their accounts in a private window. When using incognito mode, it'll assist us in determining its exact cause since this doesn't save your browsing history and doesn't accumulate cache. Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N 
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

 

Once logged in, download or print the paychecks. If they're able to do so, clear the browser's cache. Doing so improves system performance, fixes program problems, and frees storage space. Using other supported browsers also helps us verify if this is a browser-specific problem. 

 

If the issue persists, I recommend getting in touch with our payroll support team. This way, they can check your account in a secure space and investigate further the root cause of this issue. Before diving in, please review our support hours guide to ensure they can assist you on time.

 

When you're ready, here's how to proceed:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop, and then click the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. On the pop-up screen, choose Contact us.
  4. Click the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box like "Some employees can't download and print in Workforce."
  5. Select Search to continue.
  6. Choose Start a Message, and then follow the onscreen prompts to proceed.

So in private browser mode in safari... I can not still print the paystub... the download button is missing in our view now to do so, and we're left with right clicking the mouse and trying to print to a pdf which shows either a blank page

I am having the same problem.  Employees are unable to print paystubs.  This needs to be fixed.  Is anyone working on the problem?

If you're still encountering employees who are unable to download or print paystubs from QuickBooks Workforce, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
 

They can be reached while signed in.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. In your top menu bar, go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.


     
  2. Click Contact Us.


     
  3. Enter a brief description of the issue in our Ask a question (or tell us what's wrong) field, then hit Continue.


     
  4. Select We’ll contact you for a callback or Message Us to start an instant messaging session.
