Question

Federal payroll deposits show manual instead of electronic and settings appear to be correct. This just started 2 weeks ago.

I was e-paying Federal taxes every week without problems. 2 weeks ago it just stopped being an option. I have called QB twice and no one can figure out. It also looks like my bank account is in the chart of account 2 times.

Currently, we have an open investigation about being unable to e-pay federal taxes. Please know that our software engineers are actively working to get this resolved the soonest.

 

In the meantime, I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team so we can add your account details to the list of affected users. They can also electronically pay the taxes for you. You may provide this investigation number to our representative for a faster transaction: INV-75287. Here's how to connect with us:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon.
  2. Select Talk to a human.
  3. Enter "Talk to a human" again in the search bar.
  4. Choose I still need a human, then click Contact us.
  5. Select Get a callback or Send a message to start a conversation.
