I have not signed up for Quickbooks Payroll and not planning on doing so which my reports menu seems to be different than articles I can find. What I would like to do is run a report on a given employee so I can see all of their transactions/payments for a given time period. How can I do this?

Hello there, @wickedforestofterror

You can run the Transaction List by Date report and use filters to view your non-payroll checks by employees.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu, then enter the Transaction List by Date report in the search bar.
  2. Click the Customize button.
  3. Hover down to the Filter section, and then choose the transactions from the Transaction Type drop-down.
  4. Choose the employee names from the Name drop-down list.
  5. Select other filters you want, and then click Run report.

For future reference, you can memorize this report to save its current customization settings.

Get back to me if you have additional concerns. I'd be happy to help you again.
